Kenny, has been my Step-Father for the past 14 years and has been the best thing to happen to my mother. He always has a positive attitude in all things even when things aren't going so well. In the past 6 years he has had to fight cancer three times. Today he is going in for the third time so they can remove part of his lung. they are not sure if it is Colon Cancer or Lung but will test it when they get in there today. He is 70yrs old and works non stop. He is an English Brick Mason by trade from England which he has papers to prove it since over there you have to go to school in order to be a mason. he is very proud of these papers. He thinks and states he is as healthy as all of us. Maybe that is how he keeps beating this nasty thing that keeps infecting his body. He still gets up for work at 4:30 in the morning and works a hard day. In the past couple of years he hasn't been able to work as fast as the other younger fella's (as he would say) so he doesn't get as many jobs any more and keeps a positive attitude through it all. This year He has started a small garden in their back yard with a bunch of yummy vegetables. We gave him a pond that we never did anything with at our old house. he was so excited that he installed it right away and now is building a bench seat to go with it. He builds the bricks and stones himself. Which he build their entire patio piece by piece and wrote all the kids and grand kids names in all the stones. He is a very special man to all of us. He will be in our prayer today! KENNY WE LOVE YOU!
Kenny and I this morning before he was leaving for the hospital.
THE BENCH SEAT HE IS IN THE PROCESS OF MAKING
Kenny's garden has carrots, cabbage, green onions, beets, bulb onions, tomato's, Brussels sprouts. He had corn in another spot but the squirrels ate them and only left them one ear of corn. He would catch them climbing up the tree with the corn. LOL!
